B) The animatronic Abe Lincoln from the nearby Lincoln Museum has also been reserved.
C) An added benefit to an event in Springfield is that there’s little chance of running into the governor.

Yes. And I think it’s safe to say he won’t be anywhere near Obama on Saturday, and he’s conspicuously absent from Chicago Night in Denver.

I dig that Joe Biden, but I don’t think he’s going to make much of a partner for Obama. I see nothing but trouble, friction, competition. What’s wrong with Bill Richardson? He’s got diplomatic creds, will attract Hispanic voters. Hmmm…
