“Gov. Rod Blagojevich signed legislation Friday that creates a panel to study poverty in Illinois and make recommendations on how to eradicate it,” the DeKalb Daily Chronicle reports.
“The Commission on the Elimination of Poverty will be tasked with developing a plan to address and reduce extreme poverty in Illinois by 50 percent or more by 2015, according to a news release from the governor’s office.”
It will cost $25,000 in campaign contributions to get named to the commission.

The best way to eliminate poverty is to get everyone adopted by Todd Stroger or Emil Jones. That way we all get do nothing jobs at taxpayer expense.
