1. Todd Stroger will never learn and must simply be removed from office.

2. Rod Blagojevich will never learn and must simply be removed from office.

3. Richard M. Daley has learned plenty and must simply be removed from office.

4. Michael Madigan will never be removed from office because we will never learn.

5. Emil Jones will be removed from office if we learn everything there is to learn about him.

It has been said that if the number 1 problem in an organization can be correctly diagnosed and solved, then 80% of that organization’s problems will be solved. Methinks the number 1 problem in public education is the substitution of politically motivated policies for sound principles of education by school administrators who, apparently, deem personal political careers more important than the sound education of children entrusted to their care.
The potential, challenges, and obstacles that currently litter the public education landscape are discussed in the novel, The Twilight’s Last Gleaming On Public Education, a portion of which may be viewed online by contacting the publisher at http://www.Xlibris.com, clicking on their Bookstore link, then Searching by title. This intriguing, socially relevant, and enlightening story possesses many of the elements commonly found in just about every school system throughout the United States. Check it out for youself. Discuss it with your friends. See if you agree with the proposed solutions.
